Trekking
We currently offer three trekking options: 1-day, 2-day/1-night and 3-day/2-night. All treks start from Vieng Phoukha.
In general, with each trek, you will be visiting tribal villages, which may include Khmu, Akah, Lahu and Hmong, and learning about their customs and traditions. All treks are through the jungle, on varied terrain.
For the overnight treks, you will be staying with a local family and eating local food.
Each trek can be customized according to your interests and level of fitness.
The minimum group size for a trek is two people; the maximum is eight.
Each trek will have two guides; at least one of them will speak English.

Vieng Phoukha is located between Huay Xai and Luang Namtha on Route #3. It is approximately 120 km from Huay Xai and 60 km from Luang Namtha. It's easily accessible via private car, shared mini-van or public bus.
There are several restaurants and guesthouses in Vieng Phoukha. ATMs are also available in town.
